The head is from work-hardened tin bronze, curved in two planes for additional strength, while the shaft is made from steam bent ash and the T shaped handle from beech.

Made by artisan coppersmiths, this spade will develop a patina over time and the beech and ash woods are responsibly sourced from European forests.
